Nashville Update

Dear Friends and Fans
I wanted to give you all an update on the new album, and more specifically the recording of it. As you know I will be recording it in Nashville, and will be doing so with the renowned producer Chas Sandford. We had to delay the recording due to some construction work at Chas’s studio, which took a wee bit longer than he anticipated, and this threw off the timings we had hoped to work to.

I was due to fly out to record the album in early October, but I have been informed that Chas is having to have a medical procedure that will require several months recovery. To this end we have had to push the recording back to January 2027. I know this will come as a disappointment to those looking forward to the new record and who have pledged to help me make it. Since first being introduced to Chas, there isn’t anyone else I want to do this record with. His success as a producer, songwriter & musician speaks for itself, and he has access to the finest talent in Nashville, so I think it is worth the wait until Chas is fully fit and able to deliver the album we all deserve.

It will also allow me to be able to work with Mark Brzezicki on the record. Mark is a truly amazing drummer, as his work with Big Country, The Who and others shows.

I can also tell you that I’ve decided to call the album ‘Love The Things You Hate’, and will be doing a daily video diary from the studio as we record it to give you all a glimpse of the whole recording process.

Thank you again for all your support and patience, this is a unique opportunity for me to work with an award-winning producer and world class musicians in the spiritual home of music in the States. It is going to be worth it, and we want to do it right. I wouldn’t be able to do it without the support of you guys.

Luv, Luv, Luv…. JJ.
