JJ Gilmour
“If you don’t give me love” is the infectious first single from JJ Gilmour’s long-awaited second album “The boy who didn't fall”, due for release later this year 2008. JJ Gilmour originally enjoyed huge European success in the 1990s as lead vocalist with Scottish rock heroes The Silencers before releasing a critically acclaimed first solo album, “Sunnyside P.A.L” in 2002.
In the last two years, he has signed a new management deal with the legendary Miles Copeland and supported or toured with such wide-ranging talents as Bob Geldof, Simple Minds, Ocean Colour Scene, David Bowie, and INXS.
“The boy who didn't fall ” JJ's work was recorded and produced last October 2007 in Scotland by Graeme Duffin and Sandy Jones, the award-winning team behind the two-million selling hit “Love is all around” for Wet Wet Wet.
In recent years, JJ Gilmour has built up a staunch fan base across Europe, and is widely recognised as one of Scotland’s most distinctive singer/songwriters, able to fuse moving, intelligent lyrics with melodic harmonies.
